How To PlayEach player is given a secret goal card of one of the five elements. Element cards are played on the table connected like dominoes, with each player trying to win by connecting seven panels of their goal. Action cards allow players to shake up the action in six different ways. The game is fast, fun, colorful, and easy to learn - with enough bluffing and strategy to keep adults engaged. Preshooler variations included for children as young as 3 years! |

The Age of Aquarius: Preschool and Up? by Jonathan Liu
"The alternate rules modify Aquarius for younger players by introducing a piece at a time. I played the matching game version with my two-year-old and five-year-old and they both picked it up pretty quickly (although the two-year-old needed a little help getting the card orientations correct). I think after a few more times practicing with the matching, my five-year-old will be ready to start playing with goals. The high schoolers and my wife and I all enjoyed it just as much. " |

Groovy Party Game, Man! - An Aquarius Review by Alex Hoffman "As a party game, Aquarius shines. Its unique cards, fun, easy to learn game play, and quick turnaround time makes it ideal for people who aren't gamers, and for newbies interested in trying something new. Small, easy party games like Aquarius function well as an ice breaker in social events, and guys take note: this is a game that the ladies of the non-gaming persuasion will probably have fun playing." |

Families love Aquarius
|
"I introduced three branches of my family to Aquarius over
the Thanksgiving weekend. We had kids ranging in age from 6 to 15
playing at the same time as adults, and it was a lot of fun.
" -- Kathryn - Vienna, VA
"We spent a few days camping (with family) and the game was a real hit. Each morning, as we sat around discussing what we planned to do that day, the kids would all remind us that we had to play Aquarius again that night. When we left, we had to pry their fingers from the box to get the game back. My significant other, Russ, has a son who is very hard to entertain. An example of daily life with this child... "Well, you're bored. What would you like to do?" "Practically nothing." Now the answer is, "Play Aquarius!!" He's eleven, and for the first time in three years he's shown an interest in something! Of course, most of our adult friends are just as hooked. To think, I spent my last ten dollars of 'con' money (Origins) to get this game... BEST MONEY I'VE EVER SPENT ON ANY GAME!!!!!!" -- Ruth Young |
