Card Lists for Proposed New Editions of Fluxx

As described in What's on the Stove? these are our plans for 2 special new versions of Fluxx. Please keep in mind that these lists are still tentative, so feedback is welcomed. These are 55 cards in each set.

Family Fluxx

Update: Changes as of 8/25/5:

  • Actions: Added Choose a New Rule
  • Goals: Removed Rope Swing

Update: Changes as of 8/17/5:

  • Changed Name of Product! from Fluxx Jr. to Family Fluxx
  • Rules: Added Grandparent Bonus
  • Goals: Changed names of Recess (was Play Ball!), Rope Swing (was Tire Swing) and Ice Cream on a Stick (was Fudgesicle)
  • Actions: Draw 3, play 2 of them has been dropped, Share the Wealth now has that name

Update: Changes as of 7/14/5:

  • Rules: Revised Child Bonus to include no-children clause
  • Actions: The text for Exchange Keepers has been re-written; Mix Up the Keepers has issues

Update: Changes as of 4/7/5:

  • Goals: changed Two Pets to Any Two Pets, added Tire Swing, Fudgesicle, Free Ice Cream, and removed Someone Left the Cake Out in the Rain, Cat & Mouse, No Ball-Playing in the House, and The Ice Cream Truck is at the Playground
  • Rules: added Keeper Limit 3 and Keeper Limit 4, removed Play All, and revised Parent Bonus to include no-parents clause

  • Child Bonus (If you are 12 years of age or younger, you may choose to play 1 extra card during your turn. If there are no children in the game, then the youngest player may choose to exercise the Child Bonus.)
  • Parent Bonus (If you are a parent, draw 1 extra card during your turn. If there are no parents in the game, all players get to draw 1 extra card on their turn.)
  • Grandparent Bonus (If you are a grandparent, draw 1 extra card during your turn, and play 1 extra card during yoiur turn.)
  • Basic Rules
  • Choose a New Rule (Look through the draw and/or discard piles for the New Rule card of your choice, play it, then reshuffle the discard pile into the draw pile and comply with the New Rule.)
  • Share the Wealth (Gather up all the Keepers on the table. Shuffle them together, then deal them out, giving the first card to yourself. (Those who had nothing may gain, while others could lose what they had.)
  • Jackpot! (Draw 3 extra cards!)
  • Pass 1 Left (All players choose 1 card from their hands and pass them to whoever is on their left. (If you have no cards in your hand, you pass nothing.))
  • Pass 1 Right
  • Draw 2 and use 'em
  • Everybody gets 1
  • Trash a Keeper
  • Exchange Keepers (Note re-written explanation: Pick any Keeper another player has on the table and exchange it for one of yours. If you have no Keepers on the table, or if no one else has any Keepers, nothing happens.)
  • Steal a Keeper
  • Trade Hands
  • Use what you take
  • Rules Reset

Fluxx Reduxx

Update: As described in the WWN for 4/7/5, this plan has been back-burned in favor of focusing on Eco-Fluxx. Fluxx Reduxx may change considerably before publication, which might not happen for years, if it all. Also, this list is no longer up to date with Andy's alpha version. But here's the list anyway...
